Honorary Knights of the STS Round Table;
Since we are less than a month away, tallying a head count of all individuals who will be camping, fishing, BBQing, telling tall tales. etc etc.. for our annual Sam Tisdale summer time outing. We will be meeting at the Offical "Bass Pond" camp site, same spot as as last year; early Satruday morning 13th June @ 0700- 0730. Float tubes, canoes, kayaks, car top boats are useful in fishing these bodies of water. Here is the present head count so to see if any one needs tackle, watercraft, or bunk house/grub arrangements...

Please confirm when you will be arriving, what watercraft you'll have/need...if I forgot anyone I apologize....Plans for morning Fly-fishing with some of the meanest baddest, bluegill, monster crappie, various assortment of bass, perch, and pickerel... break @ noon time for some award winning BBQ and grub. Fly Fish some other special hush-hush honey holes in the afternoon... an evening BBQ and sharing tall tales of the fish that got away to end the days adventure...bring cameras

Dick Taylor and Mike Ruona will have float tubes and possibly a small boat that can be hand launched. Also two newcommers this year are Rich Russell and Robert Bateman have reserved site K023 and will have watercraft of some kind.

Can't find it. What lake are you camping on. What lake are you fishing. Does the lake you're fishing have a ramp. None are shown on map on Google. Sorry - need more details.

Hmmmm.. According to my reservation , I have site 32 booked for the Friday and Saturday. (RG924, PM me if it appears we have a duplicate. ) Presently traveling alone, planning to arrive Friday and may/may not stay through Sunday. Not sure what watercraft I'll be taking. Likely a yak or canoe but who knows. ( BTW: Are motors allowed?) Let me know if anybody needs a spot in a bow seat or tent.

That sounds like one hell of a time! I am going to be doing a LOT more camping this year. I haven't camped much in the past so this is going to be a fun year to begin fishing and camping. this weekend my Girlfriend and I are heading up to Lake Francis in New Hampshire. I heard it's a prime location for some salmon and trout!!!

Can't wait!!

Dave - I don't believe gas motors are allowed - certainly not neccesary - you may be able to use a trolling motor though. Alec

Thanks for the offer. I would be coming back from Lake Win........... very early Sat AM & will have boat in tow. I think I hold off until we go to a place that has a ramp for the "Barge". But once again, thanks for the offer.

We have just gotten a special Intel report from the Hush Hush Honey that the Big Bad Bull Bluegills are even bigger than last year, they are on the beds and meaner than a cornered rattlesnake when you toss a fly by their domain...

bring your best lightweight fly rod and get read for an old fashioned arm wrestling match ... these are True WWF 1 pound plus "Gill-zillas"..as Armand (B52) said last year "if these fish were 5 pounds no one would go swimming" Make sure bring a camera to get some pictures of the outing, your best flies, sink tip line as well as floating line work well... BBQ, Sam Tisdale style will be ready when we take a break to catch your breath, rest your arm from this Saturdays STS June Panfishathon.... Cant wait to see everyone... lets try to meet @ 7:00 - 7:30 if thats okay with folks traveling ...

btw: Just for clarification, that's 7-730 Friday eve or Sat AM? at the campsite?
Also , Is everybody bringing their own food? Pot Luck? donations?

7-7:30 am meet for the Saturday morning STS fish-athon.... we'll make sure everyone has a vessel to fish out of....Some folks (myself) are arriving on setting up camp during the day on Friday and fishing Friday afternoon/evening, fish Sat all day and some on Sunday morning before we break camp....We have several ponds to fish that are close to the camp site...bring whatever food/drinks for the weekend camping as needed. Saturday's BBQ will be Steak Tips, Bourbon Chicken, Dogs and Burgers Beans, Ta tors, Sam Cake plus any potluck folks want to bring...Hope Alec wife make some more chili again this year, Outstanding!!!.... we hope all bring an STS appetite, good sense of humor, Fish stories, Fly tying stuff, cameras, chair to sit on, some Fly rods and reels to share with the group,etc etc.......just relax and enjoy the warm water fishing fellowship at Myle Standish park....anyone need my phone to contact me please PM me

Not looking like I am going to make it on Saturday as of right now. Looking forward to hearing reports of monster fish dragging tisdalers around the pond though
