Hi All;
I'll join and tie two very simple flies that have produced well for me all last year, a yellow size10 gurgle pop and size 12 red bead head pt nymph. They're both so easy, I feel guilty tying just one. Besides it's a good excuse to stock up for spring! Wayne |

Thus far that's 10 tyers tying 15 flies... We will wait until this weekend to see if there are any more tyers that would like to join in ... again

John - just to be clear - each tier is not tying 15 flies - each is tying twelve - 10 for the participants, and 2 for the auction. Given that some guys are
tying two flies, there will be a total of 15 different patterns, but each guys doesn't tie 15 flies... right? I think that's it...Alec

I'm late getting in on the swap this year. With 10 tyers you may be full up. But if you need another I'll wrap some smaller but still bass-sized

First of all, I want to thank all of you who will donate your time tying flies for this event. What a tremendous turn out! Here is the final tally of the fly tiers for this year Bass Pond Fly Swap:
That is Eleven tiers tying 13 flies each... One fly to swap to each tyer and 2 extra flies for the Fly Swap Auction (make sure my math is correct guys). I
would like to receive your flies mailed to me on or about Feb 15th, 2009. Please mark your flies with a toe tag with your name and the name of your fly in a
zip lock baggie with a return address to prevent confusion of who's who flies. I will take picture of the flies so that folks can view them for the
acution. Please mail your flies to:

Ok just back from up river for a week, 13 each, for those of use with two sets, 26, we each of us one or two sets will receive one set of all back, the special
sets to be auctioned by the site, I like it, will get mine packaged this weekend and off no later than Monday.
Im looking forward to the auction too spinzo so get your checkbook open, I took one of the extra sets each year past, this group produces some of the greatest general purpose flys on lake or river Ive ever fished. Im gonna want at least one extra set just to catalogue as samples while I fish one set to see what works for me. Richard |

Hopefully you have dusted off of your tying vices and the flies for the fly swap are getting close to being completed. Don't forget, would like to have the flies to me by 15th of Feb. I just about finished my 2 sets of flies up, should have mine ready by Sunday. 13 flies each, for those of us with two sets, 26 flies.
