Went down to my sis-in-law's earlier this evening for a Super Bowl get-together. I didn't care too much about the game - I was more interested in
fishing an hour or so before dark to see of I could get fishing in the new year off to a good start. For February 3rd it wasn't bad at all - stuck 3 nice
bluegill and had a couple more hits in a black RLD.
Here's a look at my first bluegill of 08...

I went fishing yesterday also, tried some cats whiskers, and a black and green wolly bugger. No success. Nice looking winter BG though!
