These crappie were taking olive green wolly bugger and "golides" Lost about half a dozen of so...they were so heavy when I tried to lift them
into the boat, the hooks would rip out of the mouth from the weight of the fish. Bent the fly rod in half, great fight.
Every Crappie in this lake is 14 " or better and more than a inch and half thick...I lost some whoppers too
As you can see I had to spend some time cleaning fish. The Yellow perch and white bass were hitting FF4GT Halloween fly, deadly on perch. the bluegills had
some shoulders on them also.
I also saw a man on his boat dock catch a 9 pound bass on a minnow and bobber, I was about 50' down the shoreline when all the hooting and hollering
went on for 5 minutes. His brother took pictures and released it. I also caught a 3+ lb Smallie and released it... This is a great pond, I wonder if this is
one that Sam stocked or fished...
Oh by the way,,, great fish fry enjoyed by all
Looking forward to seeing you on the water.
